Starting to build your node network and your approach to a complex texture is what will set you up for success in the long run.
I used Designer's spline system to create fun curvy twisted rope for the wiring of the bulbs.
And in the middle of this project, another artist #JONNYNODES created a tutorial for the same idea! I reviewed his node walkthrough tutorial and it was very insightful as to how he started his network.((https://lnkd.in/gUwVdhvN))
I used a lot of fun tips and tricks of his like layering/blending the wires in a way so they don't intersect and actually climb over and under each other.
